So I took a little break from blogging. Things were really busy and I found myself needing to write blog posts instead of wanting to write them. I’ve found I miss sharing my thoughts…AND it kind of helps to “keep me on track” with my workouts and watching what I eat. I don’t know if anyone actually reads this but it’s fun to think that I might inspire or help someone get up off the couch and do something.
A lot has happened since the last time I wrote a post:
-I ran and finished a half marathon! My final time was 2 hrs 15 min. Not the time I wanted but still a huge accomplishment. Is it weird that I still don’t consider myself a runner?
-I tried and LOVED crossfit. Unfortunately I can’t afford how expensive it is with a mortgage to pay every month as well. I have another LivingSocial deal for another Box so I’m going to take full advantage of that!
-We’ve been in our house for a year already! It’s crazy how fast this year went.
-We ran in the Color Run! They’re popping up all over the U.S…if there is one close to you I would highly recommend it. It was suppose to be a 5k but I think it was only about 2 miles. Or maybe it was so much fun I just didn’t realize how fast I was running?
-I just started Tina Reale’s Best Body Boot Camp workout. I made it through week 1. The workouts are a lot of fun and pretty challenging! I like doing something different in the gym…I’ve been getting burnt out of doing the same thing everyday.
Tonight’s the big dress up night! We don’t have any plans but I did plan out a costume…I’ll give you a hint:
